Project Description

The global objective of this project is to facilitate 96 Grade Eight students in producing an environmental profile on the borough of Notre-Dame de Grace (NDG) in Montreal, Quebec.

Students will form teams of four and select one of the numerous topics relating to environmental issues listed below. Each team will submit a written report, a poster and a Photostory presentation. Upon completion of this project, all presentations will be compiled into a collective presentation that provides a broad outlook on environmental issues within the NDG community.

Some of the IT skills to be covered include Boolean research, digital photography and Photoshop (producing posters), and Photostory (documentary presentation). Please bring a point & shoot camera from home. if not, please see Mr. Alec Mathewson in L209 to sign a camera out Thursday morning.
